Spreading Aikido teaching the traditional way of O-Sensei, Morihei Ueshiba, is our main aim. We believe that Aikido can teach us all how to live in peace and share the same experience of true love. For this reason we are really pleased to welcome practitioners from all over the world who would like to study with us or to participate in our seminars.
We regret to notify that we cannot send any official invitation or request for a visa to embassies in foreign countries as we are not authorised to do so. We would therefore appreciate it if you do not ask us for such a request and we thank you for your understanding.

The Takemusu Aikido Association South Africa (TAASA), formally Iwama Ryu™ South Africa, is a free group of black-belted practitioners of Aikido based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Our aim is to promote and spread the traditional teaching method of Morihiro Saito Sensei, direct student of the Founder of Aikido, to all communities in South Africa.
